Currently, the # of notifications you have only appears when you are in the Community (more specifically, the User Community and User Discussions). If you scroll down maybe a quarter of a page, the top toolbar for the community (not the whole website) is gone, making new notifications harder to notice.

Within the Community or Discussions, there are 2 separate #'s of notifications. One for Conversations, the other for Notifications (everything else). Should the # Notifications Symbol of this task be the sum of those 2 or something else?
