NASA has released a new video that illustrates global climate change over the course of 136 years, making clear the Earth's trajectory toward ever-increasing temperatures. Should this warming trend persist, we will continue to see the effect on the environment via animal and plant extinction events, oxygen-depleted oceans, and dying rainforests.

With the nomination of climate change deniers such as Scott Pruitt, it seems that the Trump administration's position on sustainability efforts will be at odds with the vision of much of corporate America. More than 90 percent of CEOs believe that sustainability is important to profits and some even see themselves as a part of a responsible business world since the cost of sustainability is starting to look better for their bottom-line.
