Just ahead of yesterday's major announcement, Tesla also unveiled a hefty upgrade to their Powerpack batteries. Elon Musk and Tesla are leading the charge in significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels, with nearly 300 MWh of Tesla batteries deployed to over 18 countries.  

Researchers have discovered a gene editing technique that can treat a blood disorder that affects 1.7% of the global population. Like CRISPR, the technique may be a new weapon in the arsenal against genetic disorders.
