This Battery Breakthrough Will Allow For Long Range and Fast Charging Electric Cars

Research out of the University of Surrey has found battery alternative material, or supercapacitor, that is 1,000 - 10,000 times more powerful than traditional batteries. These supercapacitors could provide the boost electric vehicles need to break into the mainstream since they will be able to perform at lengths comparable to gas powered cars.
