On May 17 of this year, PBS Frontline broadcast a program titled, “The Secret History of Isis,” which it described as “the inside story of the radicals who became the leaders of ISIS."

Researchers have created a 3D bulk material from silk fibroin that can be programmed to activate specific tasks when exposed to conditions like temperature or infrared light. The material could be used to create everything from hormone-emitting orthopedics to surgical pins that change color when they near their mechanical limits.

New research is being conducted to develop nanotechnology that teaches your immune system to destroy tumor cells, giving hope to the 14.5 million Americans with a history of cancer. This research will need a very long time until it is available for treatment but recent advancements is cancer treatment are leaving a lot to get excited over.
